What We Do
Auteur Studio is a creative technology studio designing spatial experiences for brands and cultural institutions. We use AI-driven systems, narrative interaction, and real-world analytics to move engagement out of the screen—into the physical world.
Advances in spatial computing, AI, and mobile devices mean campaigns and activations can now respond to location, movement, and context in real time—at home, in public spaces, in retail environments, and in flight.
Our work builds on a history of early adoption and first-of-kind projects across entertainment, advertising, and immersive media—bringing award-winning craft and reliable execution to spatial experiences at scale.
Capabilities
01
Browser-first spatial experiences. No app required. Mobile AR at 1:1 scale, responsive to place and movement.
02
Voice-guided agents, generative content, and intelligent systems that respond to audience behaviour in real time.
03
Cinematic craft applied to spatial formats—immersive storytelling that is active, memorable, and shared.
04
Retail flagships, campaign launches, and point-of-sale experiences that place interaction directly in the physical world.
05
Immersive art, XR installations, and cultural institution experiences that create presence over spectacle.
06
Live operational dashboards tracking how people move, interact, return, and share—meaningful insight beyond metrics.
Why It Works
The screen is no longer a display—it is a portal. Spatial computing transforms the device in every pocket into a window onto experiences that exist in the physical world: responsive to place, movement, and context. Not content to consume, but space to enter.
Digital audiences are saturated. The infinite scroll—once imagined as freedom—has become a condition of perpetual interruption. Flat-screen engagement is passive, competitive, and increasingly inert.
Spatial computing changes the equation. When digital experience exists in the physical world—responsive to place, movement, and context—it reconnects technology to the body. Embodiment produces presence. Presence produces memory. Memory produces brand.
XR experiences are not consumed. They are lived. Audiences move through them, interact with them, return to them, and share them—creating engagement that is active rather than imposed.
4×
higher brand recall vs. traditional digital advertising (Niantic / Nielsen, 2023)
94%
of XR users report stronger emotional connection to brands (PwC Experience Survey, 2022)
2.6×
longer average dwell time in AR-enhanced retail environments (Deloitte, 2023)
Early AR and XR experiences were passive—compelling to look at, but inert. They did not listen, respond, or learn. The integration of AI agents is what separates that generation of experience from what is now possible.
An AI agent embedded in a spatial experience transforms it from a spectacle into a system—one that responds to the individual, adapts in real time, and creates genuine dialogue between brand and audience. This is not a feature. It is a structural shift in what engagement can be.
Conversational Agents
Voice-guided AI agents allow audiences to interact through natural language—asking questions, exploring product detail, navigating narrative. The experience becomes a conversation: reciprocal, personalised, and impossible to replicate on a flat screen.
Operational Intelligence
AI-driven analytics track real-world behaviour continuously—how people move, where they pause, what they return to, what they share. Live dashboards transform spatial activations from one-time events into ongoing intelligence engines for brand and institutional partners.
3.5×
higher conversion when AI personalisation is applied to spatial experiences (McKinsey, 2024)
68%
of consumers prefer brands that offer interactive, AI-driven digital experiences (Salesforce, 2024)
The Intelligence Layer
Flat-screen analytics measure attention through proxy signals—clicks, scroll depth, time-on-page. AR and spatial computing capture behavior directly in three dimensions: where people look, how they move, what they reach for, and how long they stay present.
The volumetric layer is the difference. When a user interacts in 3D space, we capture not just what they touched, but from which angle, at what scale, in what sequence—and how that behavior changes across return visits, environments, and audiences.
Session paths and dwell time within 3D scenes
Tap and click heatmaps on spatial objects
Interaction depth—surface exploration vs. full immersion
Return frequency and re-engagement cadence
Device type, environment context, and network quality
Drop-off points and completion rates by scene
Volumetric object engagement—angle, scale, and orientation
1:1 placement behavior in physical space
Gaze direction and visual attention tracking
Surface vs. depth interaction ratios
Physical environment signals—indoor, outdoor, retail
Multi-object comparison and selection sequences
Dwell zone mapping across physical environments
Social sharing triggers and peak sharing moments
Emotional response signals via interaction tempo
Audience segmentation by spatial behavior type
Cross-session learning—how behavior evolves over time
Conversion path analysis from exploration to action
All data is surfaced through live operational dashboards built for each activation—turning one-time brand experiences into ongoing intelligence engines that improve with every interaction. Partners receive insight into not just what audiences did, but what it means for the next campaign.
